Sherburn M. Becker

Sherburn Merrill Becker (November 13, 1876 – February 5, 1949) was mayor of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, from 1906 to 1908. Becker was elected in 1906, defeating the incumbent, David Rose, who had served four terms as Milwaukee's mayor. Becker was known as the "boy mayor", having been elected at age 29. Becker served only one two-year term; David Rose was elected once again to his final term in 1908. He moved to New York City to work in the financial market and died there.[1][2][3] He is buried at Forest Home Cemetery in Milwaukee.
